Cosmopoli’French takes cultural immersion one step further by introducing new workshops for the new term starting on February 4th 2013. We will explore new venues during our upcoming nine week journey. Here is the new timetable!
Week 1: February 4th- February – February 7th
- Say it with Slang: Discover or consolidate French slang through articles, magazines or music. Understand and use everyday slang expressions and idioms while being exposed to everyday French life.
Week 2: February 11th- February 14th
- Movie Time: Come and watch French ‘courts metrages’* and work on your communication skills in our discussion groups and activities. *short films
Week 3: February 18th- February 21st
- Say it with food: Come immerse yourself into French culinary traditions. Develop your food related vocabulary, interact with French staff whilst discovering beautiful French cuisine.

Week 4: February 25th – February 28th
- Because grammar still matters: An opportunity to get answers to all your grammatical dilemmas, bring along your grammar essentials booklet and let’s revise together.
Week 5: March 4th – March 7th
- Say it on stage: Come work on role plays using maps, travel guides, menus...along with a script. We will be working on practical situations to help you gain confidence when interacting with French natives.
Week 6: March 12th- March 14th
- Le Bookclub: Develop your vocabulary and your confidence by reading a French book. Come along to share your opinions, ask your questions and debate.
Week 7: March 18th- March 21st
- Frenchly designed : Learn about interior design related vocabulary: furniture, architectural styles and decoration. Decrypt the codes used by French real estate and prepare your upcoming relocation or your next French getaway.
Week 8: March 25th- March 28th
- French in the news: Get a better understanding of French culture through an analysis of French current news. Improve your listening comprehension skills and broaden your vocabulary working on a large palette of resources.
Week 9: April 2nd- April 4th
- Say it with games: Discover a French venue and get the chance to work on your conversational skills in a relaxed atmosphere while playing French board games.

Extra Workshop:
Saturday March 23rd
- Frenchy Yoga : Discover an innovative way to learn or revise body related vocabulary. Enjoy a yoga class taught by a French instructor and come stretch your body and mind. (See terms and conditions on our Events page)
There will be no classes on March 11th (Labour Day) nor April 1st (Easter Break)
